Samuel Barnhart is an intern moving toward becoming a missionary in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. He has extended his internship into December while pursuing missionary status, and is filling marketing, communication, and team hosting needs for the ministry across the country. He is excited to be a host for teams, showing them a country and a ministry that he loves very much. Along with these roles, Sam works with Kids Alive maintenance to improve sites in Jarabacoa with better long-term maintenance solutions. Sam also works with the country and site directors to record and write articles about ‘what’s happening’ in the ministry, making connections to previous teams.

He is passionate about giving purpose to kids through Christ, and to share that mission with anyone that wants to get involved. Sam can’t wait to see what God has in store for him. He loves motorcycles, the outdoors, photography, language and serving others. Prayers, support and love in any way are greatly appreciated!
