Born and raised in California, Adam graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, just miles away from Hollywood, where he focused on creating films for social change. Since high school, he has sensed the Lord calling him to missions at the intersection of storytelling and justice by elevating the voices of those not heard and bringing the margins to the center. He desires to “set the table” so that all might be seen, welcomed, and included in communion with Christ.
Adam has extensive experience making films internationally with survivors of slavery and violence to further their journeys of restoration and justice. From leading Bible studies with marginalized communities in Washington DC, to walking with survivors of trafficking to tell their stories on film around the world, he has constantly sought to follow the Lord at the frontlines of bringing the Kingdom of God down to earth as it is in heaven. After visiting Kids Alive’s Oasis Home in 2019, he felt the Lord calling him to step even deeper into mission. He is pursuing a Master's in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary to further equip him for God’s call on his life.
Adam serves as the Video Story Producer, working to effectively and creatively tell the stories of the ministry, the children, and the staff in a way that brings dignity and glorifies God. Through storytelling, he helps center, elevate, and amplify the voices of the children in the care of Kids Alive. He believes that lives can be restored, cultures changed, and justice pursued through the power of film and story. As part of the Kids Alive team he helps to enrich and impact the lives of these children, through worship, devotionals, mentoring and tutoring in artistic expression.
