Ann VanDerMolen joined Kids Alive Dominican Republic in 1997. She has filled many different roles over the years, working with interns, service teams, teacher training, and curriculum development while also raising four children with her husband. Ann currently serves as Director of ANIJA school.

Ann has a degree in Anthropology from Bethel University in Minnesota. She received her teaching certificate from Spearfish College in South Dakota and her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University in Illinois.
