RJ Pleva is from Westmont, Illinois and graduated with a BA in Information Systems from Olivet Nazarene University. Since he was a young teen, he has served on service teams and as an intern in the Dominican Republic. In 2017 he moved to the Dominican Republic to serve full time as the Service Team and IT Coordinator.
In these two roles, RJ works to build relationships with churches and teams from the United States. Many of these churches and teams donate tech devices that he distributes to staff throughout the ministry. He enjoys working with our national staff to create a great team experience for all visitors. Niveidy works as an accountant for their local church.
Niveidy and RJ met through their local church and were married in February of 2021. Niveidy and her two daughters, Elizabeth & Debora, have lived in Constanza, Dominican Republic their entire lives. Niveidy, Elizabeth, Debora and RJ have formed a loving family and are involved in the local church and support Kids Alive DR in any way they can!
