Kami West and Romulo Ciprian met while leading a Bible study in one of the poorer communities on the outskirts of Constanza in the Dominican Republic. They worked together in the Kids Alive Children's Home in Constanza, fell in love and were married. God then opened up the opportunity for them to start a children's program in the capital city of Santo Domingo.
They have been working with some of the neediest children in Santo Domingo since 2009. The children’s program has continued to grow as has their family with the addition of their sons, Robert and Jonathan. Kami is originally from Merrillville, Indiana and has a degree in Education from Moody Bible Institute. Romulo is originally from Constanza, Dominican Republic.
They are currently in the process of building a care center that will allow the program to expand and reach more children.
